Hi Shylene, Thanks for your question.
Personally i dont/wont be dealing with much embalming due to training in Forensic Pathology Science. So basically im required to do the investigative side of the deceased process.
However, i’ve often thought of going into the the Funeral Business as its quite difficult to obtain a position in AU on the Force specialising in criminal investigations.
So if i were to have a “favourite embalming instrument” id be going with a similar fetish as my surgical tools. I go weak thinking about intricate, small & neat instruments such as scalpels, injectors, drills & artery vein scissors.
Embalming instruments would have to be: Aneurysm Hook, Separators. Even dental floss for fine stitching haha.
I’ve never been drawn the big & bulky self-operate-machine way of performing.
Hopefully this has somewhat answered your question. I might ponder more on this & write you again!
