“EVIDENCE 10.”  Revisited homes of previous crime scenes that took place years ago. Sprayed to see what remains still to this day. One tragic event in a space of the homes now belonging to new life.

A balance between Science of Forensics & Art. “Blue Star” is a product which when sprayed in the dark, with very minimal light, reacts to the Haemo Molecule in the blood that once existed. Eg: Blood Spatter (as seen in the photograph). It is the superior of Luminal, providing the DNA specialist a point of extracting the DNA for a longer period of time, without it being damaged.
Although the main priority for Blue Star is DNA collection, what it displays is not an exact documentation of what was once “blood trail”. As it also illuminates other things such as bleach, iron & really harsh chemicals.

**side note** This is fascinating because I am obliged to take classes in photography for Forensic Science. The skills i learn are exactly the same as those taught to a student of photography (which is what this picture obviously displays). However we also expand on the physics components of our cameras & the technological makeup. Also the ethical perspective of things such as: A body in a river & the numerous lenses needed to be used to obtain ALL shots of direction. It is easy to sway a court with a standard point & shoot image & say the body was simply dumped. However a landscaped image would show the body had possibly rolled down a hill into the river. Then another might show a road with a fence before the hill leading to the river etc. More than likely as a crime scene photographer you would accumulate for one case almost a book full of images. Often many of them are beautiful works of art!
